I have found that astrophotography is addictive - the more you do, the more you want to do. It doesn't matter that weather, equipment, expertise, luck and persistence must all come together at the same time to be remotely successful, if you even get a picture of something recognizable, you'll be back another night!

My current equipment includes an Orion ED80 on a Sirius EQ-G mount, an Orion ST80 guidescope, an Orion Starshoot Deep Space Imaging camera, a Meade LPI, a Meade DSI-C for Guiding and a Hap Griffin modified Canon Digital Rebel XT.

Software includes ImagesPlus, IRIS, DSLR Focus, AstroArt, Nebulosity, EQMOD, PHD, and PhotoShop CS3.
